Job Details

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for

• Providing high-quality patient care in various departments including the Emergency Center, Emergency Room (ER), Medical/Surgical, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Utilizing your advanced nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of holistic, comprehensive healthcare services.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices.
• Ensuring adherence to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Demonstrating leadership skills in managing patient care and contributing to the positive performance of the nursing team.
• Acting as a patient advocate, educating patients and their families about their conditions and the appropriate steps to manage their health.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for these roles, you must have

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, with demonstrated expertise in emergency center, ER, medical/surgical, and NICU settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• General Social Care Council (GSCC) registration.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required within 12 months of hire.
• Proven experience as a surgical RN or surgical nurse.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
